The
Southern Resident Orcas are one of the most studied
groups of orcas due to the close proximity they live to man. This
community also contains the oldest known orca, J2 - Granny who is
estimated to be nearly 100 years old.
Their
range is from mid-Vancouver Island to tip of Washington State.
