About
Tula
Tula
was a young orca captured in British Columbia along with 10 other
members of his pod. Everyone
was released except for Tula, who was sold
to a park in Europe.
One month after his capture, he arrived at Dolfinarium Harderwijk. He was the first orca to cross the Atlantic after a 60 hour flight and the first Orca in Holland.
His stay was short as he died after being in captivity for just 3 months from an external fungus and a growth in the heart.
