Trua is a young male who was born on Thanksgiving in 2005. Like his mother and many members of his family, he is really interactive and loves to watch people through the glass at SWF’s underwater viewing area; Sometimes he does that for hours. When his mother was at SWF, he was still very dependant on her but also was independant, where he could stay at the viewing glass without her.

When he was younger, he used to interact with the other orcas he met, even with Malia and Taima*. Malia has become a good friend to him and he has taught her many things he already knew. When he was with Tilikum, he even played with the lazy and huge bull.

Currently he is learning many of the behaviours. Trua was often seen performing with his mother, but he does also some behaviours on his own. Even though he is still young he was also used for basic waterwork with some trainers. He did very well and soon will be doing more tricks. In February 2009, his mother Takara was transferred to SWT, leaving him in the care of the other females.

Trua has not been transferred as of yet.
