"Taiji"In
1978, japanese fishermen captured a male orca in
Taiji Bay. The orca
was taken to the Taiji Whale Museum but soon died from the harpoon
wound he got when he was captured. Little
is known about this orca.
- Taiji was named after the place he was captured however he was never officially named
- Pronunciation of Taiji: "Tai-Chi"
