Surfer Girl was a young orca that was rescued on the coast of California. Her origin is unknown and reason for stranding also is unknown and the reason for her stranding (however it may be linked to her cause of death). 

She was taken to Marine World Africa where she survived for 8 days; she died from a perforated gastric ulcer.
