  About Spooky
On Halloween in 1978, Corky II gave birth to her second calf. Again the calf was a male and gained the nickname "Spooky", as he was born on Halloween. The baby appeared to be healthy at first but Corky again, failed to nurse her son so the staff intervened and bottle-fed the calf. Unfortunately, Spooky only survived 11 days when he finally died of pneumonia and colitis.
