was caught off Pedder Bay along with Kanduke* in August 1975. LIke
Nootka II*, she was
supposed to be a mate for male orca Haida* and was immediately sent to
Sealand of the Pacific. Both
orcas got along well, although they were from pods with different ways
of life,
Nootka was a Transient and Haida* was a Resident.
Unfortunately she died in May 1976 from an abcess located in her gastrointestinal tract.
