  About Morgan

A young female was found by a fisherman, lost and weak in the Wadden Sea. Dolfinarium Harderwijk was notified and came to the young orca's rescue. She was put under 24 hour watch and began to eat live fish soon after arriving. There was hope that the orca can be eventually released. As of July 4, Morgan gained 50 kg since her rescue and she ate 25 kg fish every day.

Morgan has been under the spotlight now for many months, due to the release / rehab effort which was driven by the Orka Coaliation, and as a result Dolfinarium Harderwijk has been taken to court many times, however at the end of November, the court authorised Morgan's move to Loro Parque; she arrived on November 29th, 2011. She appears to be enjoying her new environment and getting along with all the other pod members there, including Kohana.

Morgan is becoming more interactive and doing well in her training.
