  About Junior

Junior was one of 5 orcas captured off the East Coast of Iceland. All 5 orcas were sent to Seadyrasafnid Aquarium. While the 3 of them were sold the following year, Junior stayed at the aquarium until 1986.

Finally he arrived at Marineland Ontario, where he met many other orcas and was probably first put in Marineland's "warehouse". Some months later, Junior performed at the bigger pool alongside Nootka V*, Kandu VII* and Kiska.

Due to his poor training ability he was sent back to the warehouse in 1990. He was up for sale but no park was interested in him so stayed there for 4 years at the indoor pool with no sunlight or fresh air. In 1994 he died of unknown reasons.
