  About Frankie (302)

Frankie* was a young bull captured in August 1973 along with Kandy*. Both orcas were kept at Pedder Bay along with 2 other orcas, who were captured recently,
Taku (K1)* and  Nootka II*. Soon the orcas were sold to Marine Parks, except for Taku (K1)*, he was released as part of individual recognition research.

Frankie* arrived at SeaWorld San Diego, where he met many other orcas. He was probably placed in a back pool and trained for shows. Unfortunately he passed away from pneumonia just 6 months after his capture.
