  About Algonquin
Algonquin was one of the first orcas to be born in Marineland's new tank complex Friendship Cove. He began to nurse soon after birth and adapted well to his environment.
It wasn't long before he made a friend in his half-brother Hudson, who was just one year older than him. The two orcas almost always spent their time together and were often seen hunting sea gulls or watching guests through the underwater viewing glass

Algonquin was very curious and anything could get his attention which indirectly resulted him being a poor performer. He was a people-oriented orca and really lovable and many people liked him because of his gentle and playful personality.

Sadly, one morning, he was found dead at the bottom of the pool and it was later discovered he died from a twisted intestine.
