   Facts and Figures

Seaworld Florida (also known as Seaworld Orlando) first opened in 1973 after the success of its sister parks, SWC and SWO. It is located next to Disney world and is one of the most popular Seaworlds there is. If you ask anyone have you been to seaworld, they would say they have been to the SWF park and many are not aware of the other two; SWC and SWT. It is one of the smallest and overcrowded parks of the SW chain but the most successful in breeding; there is currently three calves. The First orcas to enter SWF were in 1973, when Canuck were transferred from SWO in Nov 1973. Since then, there has been 30 orcas kept in SWF.
