Facts and Figures

The Park first opened in 1970.  Their first orcas arrived on September 4th 1970, these where Chappy and Jumbo who were from the same capture as Lolita.  During a 5 year period, KSW seemed not to have any orcas but on February 11th 1980, they got more orcas named King and Caren.

Their killer whale family is known as the Shachi Family.
