Flamingo Park was the first place in the UK to hold a captive orca. Their first and only orca arrived in November 1968 from North America, he was named Cuddles. He lived in a very small pool with a few dolphins and possibly a beluga. There was many arguements about Cuddles's condition and was later moved to Dudley Zoo (conditions no better).
